Artist's Description

Native American people used reeds for everything from arrows, housing, matts, shoes, to medicinal remedies. In Cherokee mythology the Tigili’i or Chickadee, is associated with truth and knowledge. In many Plains Indian tribes, chickadees are symbols of success, and it is considered good luck to see or hear one, particularly in a dream or vision.
The original is still for sale with frame.
